Supertramp!
I don't know why but for some reason the first thing I thought of when I heard the topic was a drunken tramp on a park bench. I suppose it goes on the idea of what happens to superheroes when they grow old or are no longer needed. The guy in this image could have been something great once but we just see him as a hindrance in our busy lives.

Poor old superhero's! Fantastic thought though to think your grandparent could have been a superhero too! Made me smile ;-)
